Job Summary: The Customer Account Representative will ensure overall customer satisfaction while executing the Components team goals, strategies, and objectives. This person will be responsible for achieving sales targets, setting customer-specific growth strategies and forming lasting business relationships with customers.
Respond timely and accurately to customer requests
Find/develop creative solutions for customers in response to requests for quotes
Research Illustrated Parts Catalogs to determine part interchangeability
Understand customers’ success criteria and links with AeroVision’s product and service offerings
Maintain constant communication with customers, providing follow-up on quoted items, invoicing, shipment tracking information and open action items
Build trusted relationship with key contacts and budgeted customers
Manage Budgeted Customer Process
Work with Program Manager and VP to develop strategies to achieve budget objective for assigned customer.
Ensure tasks associated with strategies are executed on a monthly basis and reported on in ACT!.
Ensure regular marketing emails and inventory listings are sent to customers
Collaborate with Supply Chain to identify sale opportunities to repair vendors
Work with Supply Chain team to prevent stock-outs and no-quote scenarios by proactively reviewing inventory repair and/or acquisition
Respond afterhours to AOG (Aircraft On Ground) requests per assigned schedule
Targeted Outreach & Development Process:
Follow Targeted Outreach and Development Process
Research new customer and acquisition opportunities
Make proactive sales calls to seek new business relationships
Log all findings and actions in ACT!
Work with Marketing Representative to develop creative proactive sales initiatives
Collaborate on global acquisition process with Acquisition team
Data Management & Reporting
Use ACT and other AeroVision specified tools as appropriate to update relevant communication details, status of specific opportunities, prospecting activities and relationship building progress
Maintain and utilize ACT! Dashboard for Budgeted Customers, Targeted Development Outreach and Post Trip Action item reporting
Focus on continuous improvement of functions and processes
Research and close quality contacts in a timely manner
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative, collaborative, and friendly working relationships with your team members
Ability to prioritize and complete tasks and assignments as requested by other departments in the time requested
Great communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to interact well with customers / suppliers over the phone and in person
Ability to coordinate and prioritize projects with competing deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Access
Capable of multi-tasking – demonstrated ability to move between tasks / priorities
Highly motivated with a positive attitude
A high-level attention to detail is required
A keen focus on continuous improvement
Aviation experience preferred, but not required
Must possess leadership skills and qualities
Travel of 0-10 working days per month should be expected
Must be willing and able to participate in afterhours AOG (Aircraft On Ground) coverage schedule
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business-related field preferred.
