Program Support Specialist (Full Time)

Reports to:    Supply Chain Manager

Department:   Supply Chain

Job Summary:  This position will assist in increasing team efficiency by giving support both operationally and administratively to the supply chain team.

Primary Functions:

  • Responsible for global exchange core process:
    • Track customer cores
    • Follow up on delinquent cores from internal and external exchange transactions
    • Issue core-due reminders and pending core-charge notifications to customers, following the direction of customer service team
    • Ensure receipt of signed Material Certification forms and other required documentation
  • **Manage the hold shelf discrepancy process:
    • Coordinate with logistics team, customer service team, and quality team to research, close and/or escalate (issue Corrective Action if necessary) all open contacts
  • Issue repair orders as directed by the supply chain representative in a timely manner
  • Oversee disposition process:
    • On a daily basis, update and maintain disposition due report to drive vendor accountability and TAT
    • Enter repair dispositions and hand off to supply chain representative for approval
    • Daily follow-up on overdue dispositions
  • Daily follow-up on overdue and urgent repair orders, purchase orders, and cores
  • Generate required reports according to a predefined schedule
  • Assist with entering vendor quotes as needed
  • Work with supply chain project manager to reconcile and close RTP (reduce to parts) receiving discrepancies
  • Facilitate in research and proper handling of component trace documentation and assembly matrix creation and management in Quantum
  • Assist with other supply chain functions as needed

  • Proficient in Word and Excel and some experience with Access.
  • Multi-tasking – be able to easily change from one task to another, and a willingness to perform whichever task needs to be accomplished

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of Associates degree.
    • Degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
